Our Target for 2030

500K

tonnes of CO2 removed by 2030

The world is facing an escalating sargassum crisis—quantities have surged by 600% over the past decade, with no signs of slowing down.

At Grogenics, we don’t see this as a problem, we see it as an opportunity.

Our goal to remove 500,000 tonnes of COâ‚‚ by 2030 is just the beginning, a conservative step toward the impact we know is possible. Given the chance, we can go far beyond this target, turning a growing environmental threat into a powerful climate solution.

The potential is massive, and we’re ready to act.

Geographic Strategy

Grogenics operates where the crisis hits hardest- Mexico and the Caribbean. These regions are inundated with sargassum and battered by hurricanes, leaving behind vast amounts of organic waste. Positioned on the front lines, we have a unique opportunity to take action at the source, scale rapidly, and drive meaningful impact where it’s needed most.

Technology Strategy

At Grogenics, we’re not just leveraging well-known technologies—we’re integrating them into a fully optimized, full-service solution. While others rely on pyrolysis, windrow composting, and shredding, we’re the only ones combining these technologies, with the added capability to neutralize heavy metals. Our scientists have developed a groundbreaking bioremediation formula in our labs, and are now making exciting discoveries in tackling not only heavy metals, but also microplastics. We’re transforming waste management into a powerful, sustainable solution that others simply haven’t been able to match.

Partnership Strategy

At Grogenics, we’re committed to building strong, lasting partnerships with resorts that share our dedication to sustainability. By joining forces, we’ll maximize the impact of our innovative model on climate, the environment, and local communities, all while expanding our reach to make a global difference.
